Experience that shapes her values

Jordan Hibbs is a DC resident running for Advisory Neighborhood Commission for the 6E04. Jordan believes in amplifying the neighborhood voices, providing transparency, and ensuring accountability. 

Jordan understands how bureaucracy works and how to advocate our neighborhood's needs to the City Council. Jordan's goal is to ensure that all residents have a voice on matters that impact the neighborhood.

Raised in Arizona, I moved to the DMV in 2016

I believe that my passion for the AU community, public policy knowledge, and my thorough understanding of the District government will allow me to help the city better serve its residents.

Jordan is currently a member of the National Defense University’s (NDU) Center for the Study of Weapons of Mass Destruction Program for Emerging Leaders (PEL) and a member of the Young Leaders Program at the Pacific Forum. Jordan is a former Mosaic Taiwan Fellow and former Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) Nuclear Scholar. Jordan serves on the Board of Directors for the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area and is a former Board Member of the Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment in Washington, DC.

Jordan holds a Master’s in Science and Technology Policy and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University. She also holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from American University.
